As an Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I integrate the theories of East Asian Medicine to closely examine the physical, mental and emotional conditions that affect our bodies and experiences.
I offer various approaches to maintain and promote the health that ebbs and flows throughout our lives. My practice offers space to fully open to the patterns informing our bodies, with curiosity and respect. Acupuncture and East Asian medicine offers a backdrop of completely specialized collaboration, to develop a unique treatment plan that takes all the determinants of health into account.

To see the body as a functional unit, integrating the macrocosmic and microcosmic forces at play, allows us to identify the patterns that can create imbalance and disharmony. Using the principles of classical East Asian medicine to address both symptoms and root causes provides both understanding and informs a clear direction moving forward. I take great care to listen closely in understanding how the body, mind and emotions are working together for each individual.

Utilizing tools from East Asian medicine including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and nutritional and lifestyle counselling, I have focused in several areas such as fertility and women’s health, pregnancy, stress, anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as complex autoimmune and pain conditions. Acupuncture and East Asian medicine is an effective and scientifically proven modality to address the subtle imbalances that create patterns in our bodies and minds, while also emphasizing prevention and maintenance of wellbeing and vitality.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific Rim College’s Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program in 2012. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) in BC, and a member in good standing with the BC’s regulatory body, the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). I am certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture under Virginia Doran. I am also a Fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), as well as a member of the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association (OBAA). I also completed the Yoga Teacher Training at the Fernwood Yoga Den in 2014.
I continue to advance my knowledge by attending professional conferences such as the Integrative Fertility Symposium, FLOW Symposium and have completed many courses by teachers such as Sharon Weizembaum, Lee Hullinder Rubin, Radine Lewis and Toby Daly.
Finding East Asian medicine in my early 20s has guided my view of our bodies, the opportunities we have for reflection and healing and the potential we have for living in harmony with the cycles that exist in the natural world.
